Iotroam

To use your Wemos around the HvA-campus there is a separate network which you can use and is only available in the WBH-building, 5th floor.

Follow this steps to get your SSID & password:

Wemos D1 mini

  • Download the sketch from this repository: arduino-mac-address
  • Upload the sketch to you Wemos and open the serial monitor.
    • Use a baudrate of 9600 bps.
  • The mac address of the Wemos will be printed in the serial monitor, copy this.
  • Register a new device, using this mac address, on DLO.

After registration you will receive a password for this device. Now you can use this to connect to the iotroam network.

  • SSID: iotroam (case sensitive!!!)
  • Password: [You can find in DLO on the Iotroam-page]

Your Wemos-mac address will be linked to the SSID & password, so sharing the password with others makes no sense.
